The Path is registered to operate under the following names: "The Path of Citrus County," "The Path of Marion County" and "A Path Rescue Shelter."

The Path is governed by a Board of Directors and a 501(c)(3) since 1992. Registered to do business in the State of Florida, The Path is regularly audited by the accounting firm of Wardlow and Cash.
